Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄大學 === 亞太工商管理學系碩士班 === 106 === Due to 911 attacks, many domestic technology enterprises dispatch a certain percentage of security guardians inside the company to maintain the security in the production to meet the requirements of upstream customers. The main research object is the stationed security guardians in technology semiconductor engineering company and the research aims at studying the relationship between security guardians’ quality of work life and organizational commitment. The security guardians of one semiconductor engineering company are our primary research objects. Overall, 367 valid questionnaires were collected and resulted in a return rate of 94% in this research. By utilizing SPSS 21.0, the reliability analysis, chi-square test, analysis of variance, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were adopted to examine the research hypothesis. The results from this study show: 1.the significant differences between demographic variables and population background; 2.the significant differences between demographic variables and quality of work life; 3.the significant differences between demographic variables and organizational commitment; 4.the positive correlation between quality of work life and organizational commitment;. It is suggested that security firm should put more emphasis on security guardians’ quality of work life and enhance the recognition of security management in order to decrease the tendency of resignation and enhance work performance.
