Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立聯合大學 === 機械工程學系碩士班 === 106 === Microbial fuel cell has been increase noticed as one of the substitutes nowadays among most sustains energy. With the environment friendly and low second time pollution produced, because microorganisms that can not only generate electrical current in microbial fuel cells but also can provide waste water treatment. In this type of fuel cell, electric cathodes become the key point factor to affect the electricity power. Therefore, the different types of process of cathodes to increase surface will enhance the production of electrical power. In this study, a powder metallurgy board made of porous Ferro-Chromium alloy was used for the cathode. E.coli HB101 was grown in the lab for the purpose of decrease biologic variance in order to perform a premised assessment of the possibilities and efficiencies of cathodes. The results of this study are a powder metallurgy board can be used as electrical cathodes of Microbial fuel cell and with DI water can enhance the electrical power 3.11 times. the production of electrical power is increased 1.19 times more while the cathodes is with electron media and is increased 2.2 times efficiencies while the cathodes with 24 hours acidic media process. The prepared procedure of powder metallurgy cathodes will be benefit to the electrical power generation of Microbial fuel cell as well.
