碩士 === 國立虎尾科技大學 === 資訊管理系碩士班 === 106 === This study aims to make an in-depth exploration on the factors of how the freshman choose schools in the H University and to understand the students choose schools information source, conduct situation analysis. After literature review, a questionnaire survey was conducted for collecting research data. Research subjects were the freshman of the H University in 2017. A total of 1063 questionnaires were distributed, 972 questionnaires returned, and 936 questionnaires were valid samples. The effective response rate was 96.3%.The data was analyzed with descriptive statistics, and reliability analysis.The conclusions of this study can be summarized as follows. The first, the freshman choose schools aspects variable arranged in order of importance learning orientation, occupational orientation, prestige orientation, life orientation, environmental orientation. The second, many students mainly recognize the university through the university exposition, after that check the information about searching information on the Internet or university in detail from the universities’ website. The third, students mainly adopt the opinion of parents and high school teachers as a reference. Finally, suggestions according to research results for the university were discussed.
