The Act makes clear the duty of Fire-Control Staff are these 3 major tasks: fire disaster prevention, rescue operation and fire aid provision. Nowadays as the general public value the quality of government services more and more, as part of the Civil servants, fire-control team are also directly supervised by public opinions. Therefore, by means of empirical method, this study analyzes the clients service satisfaction toward Fire-Control Safety Inspectors. The study conducts a local survey and runs sampling among clients or representatives of regulatory places from 17 villages in Xitun District and Beitun District of Taichung. The survey covers 5 quality aspects including reliability, explicitness, professionalism, feedback and reasonability. 272 survey samples are collected with 100% response rate. The study comes out with following conclusions: 1.Explicitness aspect representing the equipment, the talk and image of the inspectors: this survey score is the lowest. Thus, it is recommended to upgrade equipment procurement and enhance its maintenance quality. 2.Professionalism aspect representing the legal knowledge, communication skill and self-expression capability: this survey score is the highest and the inspectors are regarded to hold good disciplines and legal attitudes. 3.Other sound opinions are presented in the survey and they shall be examined in order to avoid unnecessary disturbance to the public : (1)The inspection can be too often for the same place (2)The inspection arrangement can be more considerate (3)The dedicated inspection staff and system shall be defined Overall, the study aims to provide insights for the Fire-Control authority about relevant legislation and implementation.
