Although the container marine transportation has jumped to the current maritime transport main supply chain, but the loading and unloading of bulk cargo ship on maritime transportation, remains indispensable job behavior of the cargo handling trade because of bulk cargo ship (bulk grain-corn, soybeans, mineral raw materials - iron ore, scrap iron, milling, refined copper, pulp, silicon sand, fuels - coal, coke etc) needs exist. Since the 1990s, due to the large size of bulk ship after, ship cargo handling industry to the original handling machine tools, gradually refresh on the increase as a result of capital expenditures led many owners cannot afford the Update Tool and the dissolution of the Company's liquidation. But the cache for the industry have also been more gradual transition to date in accordance with the ships to the large size of machine tools and because labor pay way the changes of the times so that industry is the aging of the new labor personnel who intend to enter the job market and technology temporary shortage of loading and unloading operations are more serious because the operating technology slice is too large to produce management difficulties faced in another transition imperative, the Taichung Harbor heat grocery handling trade also faces the above-mentioned several problems. This Study will adopt to Qualitative research methodstudy of port cargo ship classification and handling efficiency trends in research and analysis and will explore the analysis that in the current ship handling industry pattern and trends related to the issue of recommendations, to be made available to relevant government units and related industry as a reference to improve the Taichung harbor loading and unloading ships the future development of the industry or the opportunity to transition and to raise the Taichung Harbor to the bulk of the ship loading and unloading operations environment and overall competitiveness.
