Description
Summary:碩士 === 東吳大學 === 國際經營與貿易學系 === 106 === The purpose of this study was to assess how SMEs in Taiwan applied Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and combined with innovative business model. IIoT is a highly integrated use of a new generation of information technology and this is of great significance to the new round of industrial revolution, economic, social, green energy, intelligence production, and sustainable development. Countries around the world, especially the United States, China, the European Union, Japan and South Korea and other developed countries attach great importance to the development of IIoT. Enterprises should actively carry out strategic layout in order to catch the future of international economic and technological competition initiative. Whether it is Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, smart factory or smart farming, IIoT technology is playing a key role. Since IIoT technologies and relevant businesses have just started, most SMEs actually do not know how to apply this kind of technology to improve the production processes. SMEs shall develop business opportunities with each other through mutual cooperation and expands business fields with experience. This has become an important opportunity, gotten a foothold for industrial upgrading and transformation of Taiwan's SMEs in the development of IIOT and smart factory. This study selected A company's smart pig farming as a case study. It will research Taiwan's food safety scandals in recent years. Except jittery and panicky, what can the general consumer do? In the past few years, issues related to food safety have received much attention and related reports have also been heard from time to time. Actually the negative impression was really huge. The major examples of plasticizers, poisonous starches and waste oil not only ruined Taiwan’s reputation as a kingdom of delicacies, but also caused consumers’ worry. But through the blockchain technology that the data cannot be modified, combined with automatic control and data analysis of IIoT to improve the processes, establish a production and sales traceability system and this can become the key factor to trace the source and processes of food. Knowing the origins of food may be more important than whether it tastes delicious or not. Taiwan has experienced many food safety scandals in recent years and consumers are also gradually getting familiar with the concept of traceability of food ingredients. In addition, the decentralization of C2B's innovative business model allows manufacturers and consumers to interact directly through QR code, e-commerce platforms, and social media. Traceability and transparent information are all available at every step from production to distribution. Feedback from the consumers not only makes the information of traceable agricultural products more transparent, but also allows consumers to feel more at ease. Since IIoT is turned to be a global development trend, SMEs in Taiwan have to establish correct concepts as early as possible and applying step by step gradually. It is much easier way for SMEs to apply IIoT. IIoT brings the dawn of industrial upgrading in Taiwan, not only the mainstream of the future, but also a good opportunity for the industry to regain and grow healthily. Just as smart phone and the Internet have changed many industrial ecosystems, IIoT will once again subvert many industries. Enterprises should understand the current status of industrial development and related innovative applications, quickly apply internet solutions for equipment and implement the "Intelligent Management" in order to be able to catch the global business opportunities. In other words, if SMEs in Taiwan do not actively think about the application of innovative business models combined with IIoT and transfer from mass production to service orientation, they will lose the early business opportunities in keen competition around the world.
