The main findings of this study were summarized as follows: 1. There were no significant gender differences in interpersonal intimacy competence; 2. Females had higher score in global relationship satisfaction, and satisfaction/growth than males. Males had higher score than females in conflicts/contradictions. There were no differences in autonomous/symbiosis; 3. Romantic experiences was modestly positive correlated to interpersonal intimacy competence and initiation/self-disclosure; 4. Negative assertion and conflict management were predictive of relationship satisfaction; 5.
