This study, situated in the Linyuan Planet of Formosa Petrochem-ical Corporation in Taiwan, aims to investigate how employees’ decision-making par-ticipation influences job satisfaction, and further explore the possible perceived dif-ferences among employees with different background variables. The survey method was adopted by issuing questionnaires to a total of 200 employees at the primary level of company. The questionnaire data were examined and analyzed to reveal the rela-tionship patterns between decision-making participation and job satisfaction as well as their causal associations. Findings obtained from the present study can provide the company’s managers with an understanding of the importance of employees’ partici-pation in the company’s decision-making process, thereby enhancing the employees’ satisfaction with the company and achieving a better level of business performance of the company.
