Encapsulate the niosome carrier with red quinoa to perform the following test. Observing the particle size distribution and the stability under different time and temperature are involved in the process so as to evaluate the skin moisturizing effectiveness. The result of study indicated that 21 W/15 min is the best wattage, which can extract 79.81 (mg) polysaccharide from the ultrasonic extraction of shelled red quinoa. On the other hand, the best extraction amount of unshelled red quinoa yeast is 554.62(mg) in B-2, and rice yeast is 730.16 (mg) in C-1. In terms of the particle size, the niosome prepared by formula E-1 (1.25 g cholesterol 1.25 g span80, stored at 4°C or 45°C) the average size is 120 (nm)~164 (nm) , and the average PDI is 0.34 (nm). Therefore, formula E-1 (1.25 g cholesterol 1.25 g span80) is more stable than other formulas when comparing different encapsulating levels of niosomes carrier. To examine effectiveness, the study applied red quinoa and water on diffetent blank set. The result showed formula D-1 (1.25 g cholesterol 1.25 g span60), whose niosomes carrier encapsulated red quinoa has improved 17.29% moisture content of skin cuticle, formula E-1(1.25 g cholesterol 1.25 g span80) improved 13.81% and the one encapsulated water improved 10.79% after 28 days. The result proved the significant moisturizing effect. To test the allergic reaction and safety, the study didn’t show any allergic signs or swell after forty-eight-hours patch test, which showed red quinoa niosomes carrier is harmless and safe to skin.
