Professional helpers in colleges (n=252) completed questionnaires that included demographic information, Big Five personality traits and sexual comfort. The data obtained were processed by SPSS 18.0 Chinese version, with descriptive statistics, independent sample T-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and regression analysis. The major findings of this study are stated as the following: 1. The findings of personality traits: (1).The personality traits of professional helpers in colleges were sequentially Agreeableness, Openness, Conscientiousness, Neuroticism and Extraversion. (2).The personality traits of professional helpers in colleges had significant difference in age, biological gender, psychological gender, marital status, with/without a stable sexual partner, number of sexual partners, education, job, and religion. However, there was non-significant difference in sexual orientation, whether dealing with sexual issues with clients and had training in sexual issues. 2. The findings of sexual comfort: (1).The average score of the sexual comfort of the professional helpers in colleges were 39.27 out of 50, which was moderate level. (2).The sexual comfort of professional helpers in colleges had significant difference in biological gender, psychological gender, education, job, whether dealing with sexual issues with clients and had training in sexual issues. However, there was non-significant difference in age, sexual orientation, marital status, with/without a stable sexual partner, number of sexual partners and religion. 3. The Openness and Agreeableness of professional helpers in colleges had a significant positive correlation with sexual comfort, while Neuroticism had a significant negative correlation with sexual comfort. 4.
