Description
Summary:碩士 === 南臺科技大學 === 企業管理系 === 106 === Past research suggests that when individuals are interested in something, their knowledge in this area is also abundant (Guo Shengyu, 1990). In other words, when the knowledge of an individual is more abundant, the tendency of interest in this area is more obvious. Therefore, this study wants to investigate whether the academic performance of college students in the school curriculum influences their interest tendency. This study aims to investigate the academic performance and interest tendency of students in three types of subjects, and to use regression analysis to analyze the impact of academic performance on interest propensity. The study found that academic performance does positively affect the corresponding interest propensity. In terms of moderating variables, this study further explored the impact of parents’ expectation and student self-esteem on the relationship between academic performance and interest propensity. It was found that the higher the expectation of parents, the more likely it will affect the degree of relationship between academic performance and interest propensity. The higher the sense of student self-esteem, the more the relationship between academic performance and interest propensity.
