Take a look at the research on Chingjing tourism and B&B for example, there was almost no literature discussing something about the closely related chartered travel with B&B. There was also no discussion with respect to the cross-industry alliance issues between these two industries. This study aims at the reasons for the success of the case for the Starry House B&B, which has a high accommodation rate in the matured block of Nantou’s Chingjing Farm. The respondents of this study are chartered travel industry operators who have a close relationship with the Starry House B&B, and the Starry House B&B itself. This study adopted inductive method and in-depth interview method. The conclusions of this study are as follows: First, the current status of the chartered travel industry in the Starry House B&B : The free independent overseas Chinese tourists living in southern-east Asia are the major tourists source. The off-season is in July and August. They treat guests sincerely and assist in planning a reasonable journey. Second, the role the chartered travel industry played in the operation of the Starry House B&B: Making good use of each other's advantages in order to develop a diversified business model made chartered tours play an important role in the Starry House B&B. Third, chartered travel operators need to make good use of various communications software in order to undertake different sources of tourists, and use group tactics to form a multi-marketing network such as a sightseeing tour team and a website, including providing information and price transparency. Furthermore, for the purpose of achieving sustainable business operation goals, chartered travel operators need to share and have a good interaction with customers. They need also to make good reputation for themselves and establish fine communication with customers in order to increase the customer's return rate.
