The interest in mobile payment is growing rapidly all over the world during the last three years. In Taiwan, over 80% of people have smartphones but the usage of mobile payment is less than 30%. For this reason, the purpose of this research is to find out the significant factors that affect the decision to use mobile payment. We carried out a study through the physical and online survey of people, the age of whom are between 20 to 35 years old. The techniques of this research are the structural equation model (SEM) and neural network model. Both techniques give the different significant variable of the behavioral intention. The research found that perceived risk and trust are the most significant variable to the users. The conclusions of the research provide operators a new opportunity in the mobile payment market.
