The fixed wing has become more and more common in MotoGP in recent years, mainly because Ducati Depot adopted the first straight-line stability and suppression of frontal float after using the fixed-wing in the factory car in 2015, with a marked improvement in performance. Other manufacturers saw similar results . However, at the end of 2016, FIM banned the setting wing for safety reasons. In order to circumvent laws and regulations, eneryone began to study how to hide the wing in the car shell and enriched the variety of vehicles on the court. Using ANSYS Fluent to analyze the flow field outside the fairing, calculate the negative lift coefficient and air resistance coefficient of the fairing, and verify the design results.
