The alternative plans of skyrise greenery gain more attention and encouragement because the urban public area and green area cannot be developed owing to the limited land resources. In Taiwan, most of skyrise greenery research related to the technology and benefits of roof greenery. There is no detailed government policy and decree on building greenery like skyrise greenery and sky garden. Compared with other countries, Taiwan’s promotion of skyrise greenery is still at the starting stage. The evaluation item of EEWH-BC is not concrete thus there is still room for improvement. To create positve urban environment and microclimate, we should be active in the skyrise greenery promotion. The research takes Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, and China, which have similar climate and cultural background with Taiwan, as examples and analyzes their government policy and items of Green Building Evaluation Index. We generalize eco-friendly, cooling and energy-saving, landscape quality and sustainable management as four major dimensions. We interview nine experts from the official, industry and academic, concreting 11 key item and 30 items, and suggest that we should evaluate skyrise greenery with multiple perspectives. We suggest that the government should lead the promotion of skyrise greenery thorough the country and raise public awareness. The practice strategies of skyrise greenery include volume reward, tax relief, Green Building Evaluation Index and education promotion.
