Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 經營管理系碩士班 === 106 === At the beginning of the 21st century, the global economy has been in a slump and the Taiwan economy is also facing severe challenges. Many companies encounter operational difficulties, leading to the rising of unemployment rate. With the decline of profitability, various companies now are starting to ameliorate their human resource structures and choose more flexible methods of employment in order to effectively control operating costs and reduce business risks. Therefore, labor dispatch has gradually become a new trend of labor market in Taiwan. At the past, there are researches about the effects of managers leadership styles on employees job performance. However, we can hardly find related studies in the construction industry. The construction industry, including economic constructions of national security, transportation, agriculture and livelihood, is one of critical parts in national economic development, which makes great influence on the national economy. This study applied the theoretical basis of Broaden-And-Build, exploring the influence of leadership styles on the organizational commitment and job satisfaction of temporary employees and using demographic variables as control variables. The data was collected from 92 employees in three dispatched work agencies in Taichung in the same time period. The results showed that transformational leadership has a positive effect on organizational commitment of temporary employees, and transactional leadership has a positive effect on job satisfaction of temporary employees.
