Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 管理學院經營管理EMBA專班 === 106 === Within globalization the future automotive industry development is focusing on being intelligent, electrification, low emission and green energy, so the global automotive trend of being intelligent and electrification will grow rapidly, which gives the traditional IT industry companies have this excellent transformation opportunities of stepping into the supply chain.
However, the automotive and traditional IT industries from the source of product development to the back-end Warranty Service are not the same. How to overcome those obstacles to get the initiative in the new energy automotive market is the focus of this thesis study. This study aims to explore the current situation and the future trend of the global automotive industry and analyze the automotive electronics industry in the special environment of the traditional automobile industry by analyzing the competitive strategy of utilizing Porters Five-Force analysis, SWOT and TOWS analysis, in order to develop the related competitive strategy. On the other hand, through the in-depth interviews with various experts, the initiative is to set up mutual recognition. The case analysis is mainly used as key success factor practical verification of the strategic theory. Then based on the analysis the study had proposed concrete suggestions and formulate the competitive strategy.
The results of this study show that automotive electronic components shall be in standardization, modularization and more intelligent, while in the mechanical and electrical system integration capabilities, software development capability is the most critical segment. The study suggests that Taiwan’s automotive electronics industry development should focus on establishing long-term strategic partnership with major world-class OEMs and suppliers, to enhance the critical R&D capability and patent management. The goal should be penetrating into NAFTA, EU and China such major markets; meanwhile, it is also important to enhance the alliance between industry and academic organizations to cultivate related talents, in order to stay more competitive on future niche market business development.
