Because it belongs to the passive component, it does not provide the power source. Because the internal circuit receives the electromagnetic wave of the reader before it can be actuated by electromagnetic induction and the RFID must receive enough signals to send the data to the reader, it must take more time about 50~100ms to complete a message transfer. Bluetooth 4.0 can provide 20ms complete a broadcast transmission thus Bluetooth 4.0 is more accurate than RFID timing. Therefore, the aim of this study is to use the Internet of things in marathons, in order to improve the accuracy of existing timers. In addition, the most important points to use Bluetooth is to provide rescue functions. Athletes can initiate rescue notification in case of emergency distress. Because Bluetooth cannot only communicate in one direction but also have two-way functions, athletes carry messages of suitors to the organizers. Send a rescue team to the destination to avoid more serious damage.
