Summary: | 碩士 === 淡江大學 === 亞洲研究所碩士在職專班 === 106 === In Taiwan, in addition to the population aging structure i,and the low wages problem leading to a massive outflow of talent, how to attract foreign talent to improve Taiwan''s brain drain problem has become an urgent issue. This study explored the Roy Model to analyze the factors of key influencing labor mobility and should be taken attention items part of this model in application. To verify by comparing analysis the attractiveness of Taiwan''s wages to white-collar workers in China, Hong Kong and Malaysia was conducted.
The study results show as below:
1. It is true that the Roy Model can more accurately estimate the relationship between wages and labor mobility,We can find out the favorable range of Taiwan''s salaries to attract white-collar workers in China, Hong Kong and Malaysia and use it to estimate the migration trend of migrant workers in these countries to Taiwan.
2. The lower pay issue of Taiwan high level talent become more serious that cause the labor attracting more visits to Taiwan tends in to more negative direction. However, the labor remove in Taiwan to other countries tends to more away positive direction and the outflow of talents is indeed serious. Based on the above conclusions﹐it provide detailed analysis and suggestion for Taiwan''s policy of attracting foreign professionals.
