Under the theory of multimedia learning cognitive model, hypothetical emotional design has a positive impact on cognition. Positive emotional design can influence learning comprehension and bring learning benefits. At present, multimedia learning incorporates emotional design with more emphasis on the design of visual elements. This study explores popular science animation short films, outstand the visual elements which may affect the emotion. That is, the scripts that constitute the popular science animation short films. Further analyze the sentence patterns of the script texts, and subdivide the text sentence patterns into exposition and narrative styles. This study used (EEG) data as a basis for emotional judgment, analyzing alpha and alpha wave lateralization to analyze the emotional state of the subject. According to the results of the study, the exposition style is greater than the narrative style in causing emotions. In the analysis of the laterality coefficients, the positive exposition has significance in the t-test, which means that the left frontal lobe has higher activity produce approach motivation state. It can be used as a reference for learners' emotional state changes under different narrative style. Ming-Hsiu Mia Chen 陳明秀 2018 學位論文 ; thesis 59 zh-TW
