The purposes of this research is to show about the journey of their heart in career development; to discuss the factors which impact on their career decision when studying or working; or the relating support, challenges, and the acquisition when taking advanced courses. Through the narrative study, this research invited four participants with purposive sampling way to share the stories about their career transition, moreover the interviews will be organised into text information which analyse with “Holistic-Content Mode” and “Categorical-Content Mode”. The results are shown below: 1.The unique life stories of four participants: Generalised four unique career themes from each of the life stories narrative by participants, including “Teach for Love”, “Ten Years to Grinding a Sword”, “Swim Forward” and “Step By Step”, it laid an important foundation for the future special education career. 2.The factors which impact on their career decision: The research founds the factors which impact on their career decision of four participant can be refer to “Social Learning Theory of Career Decision-Making” (Krumboltz, 1994) in facet description as below: (1) Genetic endowment and special abilities: For examples, Hsiao-Hsin talented in swimming, Hsiao-Ying possessed with good patience and caring etcetera working personality in special education. (2) Environmental conditions and events: The amount of vacancies on special education teacher affect to the choices of participants in the phases of special education courses, as well as the recommendation of others and the contact with the circumstances are all important factors in the course of development. (3) Learning experiences: The participants in the study constructed a yearn for the future in special education through the direct feeling or what is heard and seen on the teachers job. (4) Task approach skills: The participants in the study believe to do a great job on special education in the future through master of its own. 3.The effect of career transition when training: In support of career transition, the researcher classified the first one as “The Perception and Assistance of Family” and the second is “The Important Example of Others”. In the challenges of career transition, the researcher classified the first one as “The Adaptation of Role Conversion” and the second is “Race Against Time”. In the acquisition of career transition, the researcher classified the first one as “The Enhancement in Teaching Ability through Combination of Theory and Practice”, the second is “Establish Self-Worth in Special Education” and the third one is “Rethink to Future”. At last, the researcher aimed the result of this research to put forward the relevant research limitations and research proposals, hope this research can be expect for giving a reference to whom may facing career transition or whom may interested in this research topic for an inspiration and a reference.
