碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 視覺藝術學系 === 106 === 　By depicting the short and delicate life cycle of the butterfly, I preserve their beautiful existence in my paintings. Through my personal feelings of them, I choose to do the documentation by the using of symbolic patterns. The four series of paintings derived from the concept are under the title of ‘Speaking of Butterfly’. The main content of the thesis is my attempt to express the gradually formed concept and the development of the four series of paintings. I tried to evaluate them in the context of contemporary art, and to analyze the paintings in terms of colour and composition. 　　I hope to express my personal feelings about the butterfly in natural environment through the symbolic paintings. With this thesis, I would like to speak out and share my feelings about butterfly, and hopefully, trigger the emotional conversation with the viewers.
