Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 視覺藝術學系碩士在職專班 === 106 === The major creative content of “Text Place” features the words in billboards and life, integrated with my personal childhood experience in the advertising club. By means of the image narration, the memory for the billboards and the feelings for the words are presented in the work. The documents discuss the forms and changes of signboards and interview the development of the billboard industry and the emotions in the memory. The “Place” in the title means a field and a space, where different words and symbols exist. Words and billboards show the different looks in different places. Through the creative forms of photography, image devices, and film editing, the images in front of us are preserved to interpret the stories of the streets one after another through my cultural codes. Creation is like a journey in search of the root by seeking the nutrients from the family, memory, and life experience. The billboard is the memory of growing as well as part of the life story. The symbols and language created by different paths have different interpretations. Each image is accompanied by the creator’s memory and life stories in the process of growing up.
