Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 運動教育研究所碩士在職專班 === 106 === The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of acute aerobic exercise on attention and sport confidence in obese adolescents. A total of 20 obese students from a high school in San-Ying District, New Taipei City were selected as participants. The research instruments were Multi-Operational Apparatus for reaction time, Visuo-Spatial working memory tasks, and Sport Confidence scale. According to the data obtained from the experimental results, the statistical methods of two-way analysis of variance and independent Sample t test were used for data processing, and the following conclusions were obtained, obese adolescents after intervention through moderate-intensity acute exercise: 1. a significant result was found in reaction time of the Multi-Operational Apparatus in different conditions. 2. a significant result was showed in reaction time Visuo-Spatial working memory tasks before and after the test. 3. there was no significant difference in the accuracy rate of Visuo-Spatial working memory tasks. 4. although the result of the Sport Confidence scale was not significant, however the results-confidence score was higher than the Efficacy-Confidence score in the subscale mean score. The findings suggest Obese adolescents have a positive effect on their attention and working memory ability after intervention of moderate-intensity acute exercise, but the effect is not significant.
