This study used autoethnography as a methodology to describe the experience that how a novice accompanied with her father started coaching track and field athletes with disabilities and finally she became skilled. “What were the experience and the meaning of coaching the track and field athletes with visual impairment?” This theme guided the autoethnographic writing and through reflections the writer searched for the stance of her own life. It was a journey of facing problems together with the athletes. The journey was composed of “Beginning,” “Pain,” “Confidence,” and “Rising,” followed with “Accompany,” “Support” and “Bravery” to interpret the gains from the journey. With the stories related to the coaching journey laden with sweat and tears, the writer wrote it like a listener, then a writer. Transferring from a taekwondo player to a coach to the visually disordered, the writer displayed the six-year journey filled with her time, energy and strength.
