Some schools have already experienced excessive teachers. Public teachers are no longer keeping their jobs. In order to survive, school manager must be more active to understand the factors of parent about selection of Middle schools. This research is a pilot study that refers to the relevant literature and to realize teachers' cognition on parent selection of Middle schools. Applying the Modified Delphi method (MDM) to establish a indicators and criteria, there are indicated factors of “executive leadership,” “teacher quality,” “school environment” and “family factor”. The use of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) examines the level of teacher recognizes about parents' selection of middle schools. Besides, the weight of the cognitive factors and the weight system were also established. The empirical results show that among these four major criteria, “executive leadership” is the most significant indicator, and the following are “teacher quality” and “school environment”, and then the lowest weight is “family factor”. According to the 17 sub criteria, the "principal leadership," "student behavior," and "campus safety" are the most three significant criteria. Therefore, the results from the weight of indicators and criteria through the data analysis that could provide educators more concrete, specific and focused advices on organizational culture and school management, and then assist teachers in establishing a good parent-teacher communication model to facilitate the overall long-term developing of school.
