This study investigates the impact of innovation activities on the survival of family enterprises by using the sample of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore. The study finds that higher the R&D expenditure will increase the delisting possibility. More patents and more citations obtained, the lower the probability a firm be delisting.This study also found that family firms have a higher probability of being delisted in the form of privatization.
