By making the surface roughness of the modified functional groups, and then using the decane coupling agent to make long-chain molecules, in addition to providing covalent adhesion, the molecular density can be made larger to make the light transmittance reachable. FT-IR was used to identify the structure of nanometer cerium dioxide, and TGA was used to identify the heat resistance of nanometer cerium dioxide and the long-chain covalent structure after modification. The reason of the change was that the ratio of GLYMO and APTES in methyl cerium dioxide was different. The prepared film was tested for its surface hydrophobic properties, visible light transmittance, roughness and water resistance. At the end of the experiment, a hydrophobic film was prepared from the superhydrophobic silica and the other two silane coupling agents (G:A=1:0.5). When the contact angle of water reached 146°, the visible light transmittance reached 91.68%, and its contact angle was not changed by the water resistance test.
