The five elements have a corresponding relationship to a lot of philosophy in our daily life. Corresponding seasons, a year can be divided into five seasons; for the human body, there is a circulatory system of the five internal organs that regulates our body’s function. With the idea of “dietetic therapy” in traditional Chinese medicine, many herbs are both medicine and food, not only used to cure diseases but be healthier. As a result, we can absorb diverse nutrients from five color food to improve our organs. Start from changing our daily diet. By eating five color vegetables to nourish the body is the most natural and easy way. It said that “design is problem-solving”. The exist of recipe is to help people cook, as well as solving the difficulties they might encounter. The study recorded the recipe users’ using situation and visual experience through interview and integrate them into the visual, informational, and emotional aspect of design. A recipe, as a kind of “designs in the life”, combined with designers’ visual approach and life experience, become an “infographic design”. In the brainstorming and design stage of the recipe, the researcher followed the results from analysis and interview and then combined the “atomic design” to maintain overall consistency in a systematic way, just like the concept of “Five Phases of Chinese Philosophy”.
