Any improvements benefit nothing without locating root causes and make right countermeasures to it while enhance the competitiveness of enterprises. Instead the adaptability to changes and productivity of enterprises can be improved in case the LEAN SIX SIGMA is applied correctly to entire production activities. This study was to discuss how to improve the production activities of company by applying LEAN SIX SIGMA in manufacture process, removing unnecessary process to prevent resource-wasting in order to enhance the competiveness of company through efficient production activities. This study was based on a professional EMS company with various products, most of them are small-volume, large-variety productions which might lead to ineffective activities with wastes behind. By applying LEAN SIX SIGMA with VALUE STREAM MAPPING and PROCESS CYCLE EFFICIENCY, to find out key activities then identify problems need to be improved, come out the countermeasures via brainstorming. Not only verify it but standardize it in final step, to optimize production process.
