Especially in a build to order system, the improvement of order fill rate can enhance company’s competitiveness effectively. The main purpose of this study is to explore the results that customer orders under different environmental conditions (order input rules) through system simulation, and set the order fill rate and the mean tardiness as the performance indicators. This study will be divided into three stages of simulation experiments, the first stage is using the company's existing orders in the past year to find the differences between actual delivery date and customer demand for delivery of the orders to calculate the order fill rate. In the second stage, we put into different dispatching rules, compare the results of simulation, and use the result of analysis to find out the best method of dispatching rules. In the third stage, the standard deviation of processing times of the system outsourcing process is adjusted to explore the impact of the outsourcer's delivery reliability on the system.
