Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 戰略暨國際事務研究所 === 107 === Globalization has reshaped the concept of security and modes of war threats. As a result, security crises are not limited to traditional military threats, and non-traditional security issues have continued to rise. With the international airport being the gateway of a nation, reports of major terrorist attacks taking place at these places continue to emerge. There have been cases of terrorists attempting to break through and international habitual thieves successfully entering the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport. This study takes terrorism, homeland security, and airport security as the basis of the research topic. By analyzing literature documents, it explores, from the external international situation to the internal domestic conditions in Taiwan, the relationship between terrorism and homeland security, and their definitions from a macroscopic perspective. Then, it discusses the security maintenance structure and types of security threats, using Taoyuan International Airport as a starting point. Finally, it analyzes whether Taiwan’s homeland security and counter-terrorism mechanisms and decree are of substantial help to Taoyuan International Airport’s security maintenance system.
