However, there are many kinds of dietary supplements on the market at present. If consumers have insufficient knowledge of dietary supplements, they may not achieve the expected effects on their health, but cause burdens on their bodies. The main purpose of this study is to understand consumers' perceptions and consumption behaviors of commercially available fungal dietary supplements, and it adopts the questionnaire survey method that includes three dimensions: "profile backgroundd", "cognition of dietary supplements" and "purchase behavior". The questionnaires made by Google Forms were distributed and received 470 valid samples. After analyzing by using the SPSS statistical software, the results showed that the main reason for the general public to eat fungal dietary supplements was to "not easy to fatigue / assist liver protection" (41.4%), the second was to "regulate immunity" (27.6%), and the third was to "maintain beauty and keep young / slow down aging" (26.9%). And there are some reasons for not eating dietary supplements. First, they considered that they did not need dietary supplements (24.5%). Second, the price was too high (15.7%). Third, they might not have heard of dietary supplements (14.9%). Respondents' average knowledge of fungal dietary supplements, Antrodia cinnamomea (5.11), Agaricus blazei Murrill (4.86), and Auricularia auricula-judae (4.27), was greater than the overall average, indicating that they were unfamiliar with fungal dietary supplements. Therefore, the results of this study would serve as a reference for the future development of strategies for the promotion of edible fungi dietary supplements. Key words: Auricularia auricula-judae, Antrodia cinnamomea, Agaricus blazei Murrill, Cordyceps sinensis, Ganoderma lucidium HUANG, HSIU-JU 黃秀如 2019 學位論文 ; thesis 72 zh-TW
