The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of multimedia computer-assisted instruction on the learning outcomes of students with physical and mental disabilities at the Hsinchu city association for the appreciation of society. In this study, computer software such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Media Player and so on, combined with video, sound, animation, icon and other multimedia teaching materials, were used to teach students with physical and mental disabilities mandarin, English, mathematics and other subjects, The results were collected and analyzed by SPSS statistical analysis software, including correlation analysis, paired sample t-test and single-factor variance analysis to explore the learning outcomes of students with physical and mental disabilities. According to the results, in the comparison and analysis of academic subjects' scores before and after the intervention of multimedia computer-aided teaching, there were significant improvements in the scores of mandarin, English and mathematics. In the analysis of children with autism, Tourette’s syndrome and hyperactivity disorder, the children with Tourette's syndrome showed better learning ability than those with other symptoms before and after the intervention of MCAI, Therefore, the conclusions of this study can be used to provide reference for the special education or related teaching units in the follow-up teaching of students with physical and mental disabilities.
