Aimed at the idea of Ren as the core educational value, Curriculum Guidelines for Preschool Activities was served as the general rule for this program. The purpose of this program is to cultivate good citizenship in students and to build up the foundation of lifelong learning with the implementation of living education. The goals of this program are to enhance the professional knowledge and teaching effectiveness about life education of preschool educators; to plan for a better teaching environment for living education. This study aims to investigate the research made by the preschool educators in Taipei on the professional knowledge and teaching effectiveness about life education. This study has select a self-designed questionnaire as study instrument-"The professional knowledge and teaching effectiveness of the preschool educators in Taipei City" for total 340 copies have been distributed. There are 327 valid questionnaires were collected. The recovery rate was 96.18%. The data were analyzed using statistical methods such as descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson’s analysis of correlation. The main conclusions of this study are as follows: 1.The preschool educators in Taipei City professional knowledge of Life Education overall performance is on medium to high degree, which " Life education attitude " for the highest. 2.In addition to "Pre-Service Teacher Education Background"and "Location of Teaching" were no significant distinguish in the overall and stratified performance of the class, other background variables have the significant distinguish. 3.The preschool educators in Taipei City are awareness teaching effectiveness of life education in good condition to " Effective class management and a good learning atmosphere " degree of performance is better. 4.In addition to "Pre-Service Teacher Education Background" was no significant distinguish in the overall and stratified performance of the class, other background variables have the significant distinguish. 5.There are significant positive correlations between professional knowledge and teaching effectiveness of life education for public preschool educators in Taipei city. Finally, according to the above research results to make specific recommendations for the educational administration, school, preschool educators and future research reference.
