spelling ndltd-TW-107CKUI07430122019-09-13T03:36:16Z http://ndltd.ncl.edu.tw/handle/vuk45n The cognition and practice of nursing aides on Palliative care:An example of Keelung City 照顧服務員對安寧療護的認知狀況與相關經驗之探討-以基隆市為例 KUAN,PEI-PEI 官蓓蓓 碩士 經國管理暨健康學院 健康產業管理研究所 107 The purpose of this study is to explore the cognition and practice of the palliative care from the nursing aides.The research method adopts the quantitative analysis and induces by qualitative analysis.Palliative care questionnaire survey as the main of the investigation and the semi-structure of the focus group discussion as to help in the whole study.The objectives of the study were Taiwanese qualified nursing aides who aged between 20-70 years old in a manpower dispatch company in Keelung city.The researcher investigates by the structure questionnaires for realizing the difference of palliative care cognition at first with a total of 70 questionnaires which were included 62 valid questionnaires.The recovery rate was 89%.After the structure questionnaires were completed the researcher selects 7 candidates by purpose sampling who agreed to accept the focus group interview twice for understanding the practice of palliative care in-depth.Furthermore, the code file was filing from those valid questionnaires then analyzed by descriptive statistic, independent t check, one-way ANOVA and Scheffe method.After the questionnaires were integrated and code filed the content was analyze by construction concept and inductive development method.The results are as follows: 1.The cognition of palliative care in nursing aides are good.(More than 80% of the score rate of each structure.) 2.There is significant different of cognition between the education level and participation in related palliative care course in nursing aides. 3.The practice and personal influences of palliative care in nursing aides: (1)It is from the heart with empathy to empathize that the suffering process of terminal patient. (2)The main points of care terminal patient are increase physical comfort, satisfied with psychological, social and spiritual needs. (3)The pressure includes the sense of powerlessness the fear of death, the emotional stresses of family members and feels the difficulty of helping patient about physical symptoms. (4)To be able to see the essence of life,the conversion of personal life: life is impermanent, so that cherish the moment, to learn self-reflection and forgive others.Starting to consider self-health and think about the willing of Palliative care Will Recording. The results of this study may provide the importance of palliative care training in the hospital or long-term care institution and also provides a channel of de-stress and consultation. Moreover, to strengthen the sense of mission through the feeling from life and work and raise initial motivation and enthusiasm in order to improve the quality of palliative care in nursing aides.
