In this study, a key agreement protocol for real-time traffic sharing system is proposed for Vehicular Ad-Hoc Network (VANET), broadcast center authenticates if a user as legitimate or not after the users report the emergency, and issues certificate of emergency for users. This study uses digital signatures mechanism, key agreement and authentication scheme to satisfy he security requirements for VANET. And further apply Burrows-Abadi-Needham logic (BAN logic) to prove that our scheme achieves secure authentication. We have ensured the privacy of the communication between the fleets and provide a mechanism for immediate reporting of emergency.
