Description
Summary:碩士 === 朝陽科技大學 === 營建工程系 === 107 === Based on the observations made after several major earthquakes occurred in Taiwan, buildings in primary and secondary schools are most seriously damaged among all buildings in the very area. School buildings are aftertime used as emergency shelters after math of a disastrous earthquake. Therefore upgrading of these existing school buildings to cope with seismic event is a serious matter. In 2009 the Ministry of Education started a program to assess the reinforcement need a to finance the these public schools buildings, The program has resulted many schools have completed retrofit work. This retrofit collates data pertaining to the program effect. The most used summarized expansion primary and secondary school retrofit methods to enhance the capablity buildings to sustain seismic effect are column enlargement, wing walled and RC shear wall to column. Based on project cost, these cases are the advantages and disadvantages, providing multiple views of structural engineers and piping design thinking reinforcement. This research collates data pertaining to the program of the cases of the buildings that had been carried out the methods to enhance the capability to sustain seismic effect are column enlargement from the year of 2017 to the year of 2018.
