Summary: | 碩士 === 大葉大學 === 國際企業管理學系碩士班 === 107 === In the high density of population and limited land resources in Taiwan, the traffic problem is getting worse. Scooters became one of the necessary transportation because of its convenience, this why make scooter’s industry flourish.
However, following the environmental protection awareness has risen. Executive Yuan announced that fuel-type scooter bill be banned in the sales market which forcing scooter face the issue of transformation. Fuel type has its history for decades, the manufactures have also made their efforts in the development. when fuel-type scooter market getting saturated, electrical scooter will become a main point project that must be developed.
In addition, when Taiwan joined World Trade Organization, the regulation allow motorcycles has privilege of driving on highway, so we know this industry can’t be underestimated.
This research used the observed market data of K company to analyze the future competitive strategy advantage of fuel-type, electrical scooter and motorcycle industry by using Michael Porter’s five Forces Model, Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threaten, SWOT and BCG Growth-are Matrix to provide the result and suggestion.
By the methods of analytical mentioned above, this research provides five suggestions:
I. Maintain the original market share.
II. Implementing strategic alliances, teamwork is the way out.
III. Developing tourist routes, traveling by riding motorcycle.
IV. Develop multiple motorcycle and sell overseas.
V. Combined with electric and motorcycle will be the best solution.
