The participants in this study was randomly selected from Taichung City Government Police Department. The electronic survey was adopted, and in total 419 valid responses were received. SPSS and AMOS 20.0 statistical software were applied as the analysis tool. In order to discover the relationship of police officers’ sports participation, occupational stress, and recreation satisfaction. The survey questionarrie developed by FOX on degrees of sports participation, Recreation Satisfaction Scale, and Occupational Stress Scale are administrated in this study. Moreover, descriptive statistics,indepen samplet-test, Analysis of variance ANOVA , regression analysis of reliability and validity, and Structural equation modeling (SEM) are implemented to analyze the relationship of latent variables.The findings were summarized as follows. First, the impact of police officers’ sports participation on their occupational stress is negative. Secondly, the police officers’ sports participation has positive influence to the recreation satisfaction. Thirdly, the police officers' has slightly positive impact on the recreation satisfaction. In conclusion, police officers increase sport participation, which decreases their occupational stress and increases their recreation satisfaction, as well as improving the quality of personal health and life quality.
