This study is based on a sampling of 360 elementary school teachers, secondary school teachers and high school teachers. The research tools involved applying the " teacher’s personality traits Scale", the" teachers’ perceived student relationship Scale" and the " job burnout Scale", along with using an independent sample t-test, an analysis of variance, a correlation analysis, a multiple regression analysis, and a Sobel Test mediation effect analysis. Based on the results, the findings were as follows: 1. The " agreeableness ", " conscientiousness ", " emotional stability ", " extravert- sion " and " openness to experience " of teacher’s personality traits has a positive impact on teachers’ perceived student relationship. 2. The " emotional stability ", " extraversion ", " openness to experience " and " agreeableness " of teacher’s personality traits has a negative impact on job burnout. 3. Teachers’ perceived student relationship has a negative impact on job burnout. 4. Teacher’s personality traits will thus influence the job burnout through the intermediary role that is affected as a result of being subject to teachers’ percei- ved student relationship. The results of this study proved that teacher’s personality traits will thus influ- ence the job burnout through the intermediary role that is affected as a result of being subject to teachers’ perceived student relationship. Therefore, this study provides a new direction for prevention and mitigation of burnout. The related personnel of education should consider how to maintain or enhance teacher-student relationships, in order to reduce the problem of teachers’ job burnout.
