But Standish Group found that the success rate of New product development projects is only 29%. For remaining cases, 52% suffers from critical development issues and 19% of that remaining 52% fails. Therefore, if company execute project only depend on the project manager’s past experience, the opportunity is quite low. This study uses Robert G. Cooper's Stage Gate System as the main structure of the new product development life cycle, and then uses the literature to integrate performance influential factors that base our interview with the subject company.
