The related industries are closely and maturely dependent on each other, resulting in a growing trend in the automotive component industry. It is closed and has a high level of entry.And each car manufacturer has different requirements for suppliers . For each supplier in the supply chain , it is undoubtedly a waste of management resources and an increase in replacement costs. In view of this, the worlds major car manufacturers develop and integrate the car supply. between common system requirements, [IATF 16949: 2016 automotive quality management system standards] that is born out. However, the standard only explains the required aspect, and the verification audit is about conformity. Therefore, how to implement it actually becomes its own development, and there are more requirements for its own supply management, not only considering the standard content, but also considering it. The difficulty of passing the certification is increased by the organizational culture and the suppliers dependence, and the replacement of the supervisory authority. This study documents referred to by the vendor selection indicators, and in line with the provisions of IATF 16949 requirements, and the corresponding questions of principle German VDA6.3, sorting out ninety-four supplier assessment breakdown, the assessment criteria to be through Evaluate and grade to identify the current status of the supplier. Then to stamping plant as a case of SMEs, to promote nuclear supplier management in accordance with this assessment criteria, audit and made by a third-party inspection agency IATF 16949: 2016 certification, confirming its feasibility. In addition to the certification requirements, this study shows that IATF 16949:2016 and VDA 6.3 cover each other on the required items, but the implementation of VDA 6.3 is more detailed. It is recommended that organizations promoting IATF 16949 be empowered to respond to industrial technology and management system needs. The supplier evaluation criteria for this study can assist first-time contacts in solving the automotive suppliers assessment reference, and cannot be equal to the supplier audit, because the automotive industry audit is a process-oriented approach . In terms of the annual growth of the certification system for automotive quality management systems , IATF 16949 is a management work worth investing.
