Description
Summary:碩士 === 遠東科技大學 === 休閒運動管理碩士學位學程 === 107 === The main purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship among junior and senior high school tennis players’ perceived leadership behavior of coaches, players’ satisfaction, and subsequent behavioral intention. The three research purposes are: (1) to investigate the current status of the effect of junior and senior high school tennis players’ perceived leadership behavior of coaches and players’ satisfaction on subsequent behavioral intention; (2) to investigate how different background variables of junior and senior high school tennis players affect perceived leadership behavior of coaches, players’ satisfaction, and subsequent behavioral intention; (3) to investigate the effect of junior and senior high school tennis players’ perceived leadership behavior of coaches on players’ satisfaction and subsequent behavioral intention. In terms of the research tools, this study used the self-developed research questionnaire and convenience sampling to conduct a questionnaire survey. A total of 228 questionnaires were distributed, 200 valid questionnaires were returned, with a return rate of 87.8%. After this study performed descriptive statistical analysis, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, regression analysis, etc., this study reached the conclusions as follows: 1. The players’ perception of leadership behavior of coaches and satisfaction with training were moderate and high. In terms of the subsequent behavioral intention, the players’ intention to continue receiving tennis competition training was moderate and above. 2. Gender did not have a significant effect on both players’ perceived leadership behavior of coaches and subsequent behavioral intention. In terms of players’ satisfaction, female players’ satisfaction with “leadership of coaches” was significantly higher than that of male ones. The differences in school, number of hours of weekly training, recruitment by national teams, and best performance did not have a significant effect on players’ perceived leadership behavior of coaches, players’ satisfaction, and subsequent behavioral intention. However, “authoritarian behavior” in leadership behavior of coaches perceived by players of different grades had a significant effect. In terms of players’ satisfaction, “personal performance” factor had a significant effect, while it did not have a significant effect on subsequent behavioral intention. The difference in number of years of tennis training had a significant effect on players’ perceived leadership behavior of coaches. For players’ satisfaction, “tennis team atmosphere” factor in individual dimension had a significant effect. In terms of subsequent behavioral intention, the intention to continue receiving training of tennis players who had received training for 5 years was higher than that of those who had received training for 3 years. 3. The players’ perceived leadership behavior of coaches and players’ satisfaction had a significant explanatory power for subsequent behavioral intention (27.9%). The players’ satisfaction had a significant explanatory power for subsequent behavioral intention (22%).
