Work Stress, Social Support, and Emotional Exhaustion for Counseling Teachers in Elementary Schools

碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 兒童與家庭學系碩士班 === 107 === 　　The purpose of this study was to investigate the work pressure, social support and emotional exhaustion of the counseling teachers in the Greater Taipei area. This study has a total of 233 subjects. This study conducted a questionnaire survey and statistical analysis using quantitative research methods. The researchers used the "work stress scale", "social support scale" and "emotional exhaustion scale" as the main research tools, and descriptive statistics, T-test, variability analysis, Pearson product difference correlation and multiple regression analysis were the main statistical methods to analyze the results of this study. 　　The results are as follows: First, different background factors (gender, county, age, and education level) are different for the work stress subscale, social support subscale and emotional exhaustion; second, the work pressure of the national junior college teachers (organization Atmospheric pressure, professional knowledge pressure, job expectation pressure, interpersonal stress, workload stress) were significantly positively correlated with emotional exhaustion. Third, national small college teachers' social support (substantial support, emotional support, self-esteem support, information support) is significantly negatively correlated with the degree of emotional exhaustion; Fourth, work stress (professional knowledge, job expectation and workload) and social support (self-esteem support) have significant explanatory power on the degree of emotional exhaustion. The conclusion and suggestions were proposed based on the results for the future references.
