Zhuangzi deeply understands the shackle of desire to spiritual life, and trace back to the root of depending is the flaw of the mind. Therefore, To cultivate the "mind" is the starting point. This is the idea of no depending, The principle of the state of vacancy should be brought to the utmost, which became the basis of Maslow to revise his hierarchy of needs in his later years. How to strike the right balance between natural needs and excessive desires and to make the maintenance of the life of the body in parallel with the development of spiritual life, Into the perfection of the value of life, which The issue of life is the major concern of Zhuangzi and Maslow. In this paper, Zhuangzis "no depending" thought and Maslows hierarchy of needs are evaluated in a pair of prospecting, seeking a link between the two that can be used for dialogue; and then borrow the hierarchical architecture of needs theory and reconstruction structure for the creative interpretation of the "depending" of the scattered articles of Zhuangzi, and integrate the corresponding of no dependings cultivation. Through the use of no dependings cultivation, that make the predetermined mind returned to no dependings Tao mind and that manifest the effects of vacancy, still and pellucid to develop the level of our self-awareness and enable us to reevaluate the value standard, to make the value of life from a utilitarian small use return to "true self" the great use, then ones own life can be a way to a realm of carefree; invite others to be carefree, forming a harmonious society. This is where Zhuangzis open-mindedness and true spirit are.
