| Summary: | 碩士 === 華梵大學 === 美術學系碩士班 === 107 === The inspiration of my creation in art works is from my experience in a research on about the society, culture and environment both in Spain and in Taiwan. According to that, I have experienced various sources of life inspiration, when I was in Spain pursuing my master degree, and I decided to express these illumination trough my mixed media art works. I use plant and jellyfish as subjects and devide them into four topics, Plankton, Plant and Fungus, Roaming Around the Verge and Walking Around the Greenhouse.
Plankton is the main topic during my university period, I displaying a group of jellyfish floating on the water streams to symbolize the human beings' wandering in society. “Plant and Fungus” is implying to mutualism, which also suggest the transformation of nature into artificial vessels. Roaming Around the Verge series, is insinuated to limited thinking, which has indicated into alienation or isolation. Furthermore, the ambiguity in limited thinking could be also interpreted into security as visual elements such as frames ,windows and side walks. Last but not least, Walking Around the Greenhouse can be seen as the combination of all three topics, and some kind of organic life circle.
Finally, I found a path of self awareness and hopefully people can be inspired by my art works and gained new thoughts about everyday life.
