Description
Summary:碩士 === 華梵大學 === 美術學系碩士班 === 107 === During one’s life time, one-third of which were in sleep, and each person at least had 3~6 dreams in average every night. Normally, people forgot what their dreams were about when they woke up, and of course, some might had recollection of some dreams. A Lucid Dream is a dream during which the dreamer is aware that they are dreaming, and the dreamer might even gain some amount of control over the dream. Sigmund Freud states that thought and wishes is the path to unconscious, and artistic creations are close to unconscious. People expressed emotion within their heart-felt and dream through creation works; also, many artists expressed their fantastical dream through artistic creations. Like the classic fantastical children-literature Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, which lead people in all ages to immerse in the imaginary articles and travel in the upside-down dreamland with the daydreaming girl; Freud also consider artists are similar to the daydreamer. By being the substitutes of the unfinished games in their childhood, art pieces full-fill artists’ unfulfilled wishes and turn into delusional satisfaction to the unconscious just like daydreaming itself. However, artistic creations are not created by artists unconsciously, but derive by unconscious instinct. The creation concept of this study was derived from the emotion arose from the lucid dream. The creation concept was brought out by the dramatic fantasy; by using the mixed media creation to express and describe people, events and things, and turn it into artistic works.
