碩士 === 華梵大學 === 哲學系碩士班 === 107 === Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty "only respected Confucianism" made Confucianism become the mainstream of Chinese traditional political thought since then, deeply affecting the Chinese culture of more than 2,000 years later, but it also made Confucius become the tool of the ruler and gradually separated from the original Confucianism. In the original appearance, this article hopes to break away from the bias of "Honoring Confucius" and "Look down on Confucius" and to explore Confucius' political thoughts in a more fair and objective manner. This article begins with Confucius's background and environment, and understands Confucius' political ideals through his political career, ideology, political principles and methods. After the final Confucius, the political trend of Confucianism, the formation of Confucius's historical and cultural status in China, the conflict and reflection of Confucius' political thoughts and Western democratic political thoughts, and the problems and reflections of democratic politics in China under the old Confucianism, Use Confucius's ideological wisdom to find out in a modern way. So far, Confucius's political thoughts have been regarded as stale and unrealistic, but any thoughts are not perfect, and democratic political thoughts are also. This article hopes to further understand and reflect on traditional culture by exploring Confucius's political thoughts. He hopes to inject democratic political thought into the elements of traditional Chinese culture and sublimate the human condition, rather than just materiality, so that "man-made" and "people oriented" achieves a perfect balance between the two. Perhaps Confucius's "rule of virtue" can be regenerated under the system of today's political society, opening a new path for modern politics.
