Lack of sense of confidentiality will give the window for gathering intelligence by adversary, and becomes the threat to national security. In conclusion, national security and benefit obviously depends on how the nation executing operation security. Nowadays, people including armed force members tend to use social media – Facebook or Blog to chat or gossip. If military members reveal critical information involving defense secret on Facebook, it will be infiltrated or compromised by people with certain purpose, and cause the damage of national security. According to the importance of operation security, hoping the effect of Facebook on military operation security can be understood through the study, and brings the practical prevention to arouse the awareness of confidentiality to maintain the military information security.
